  • Andrew James

    After winning the Dramatic Arts Award in high school, Andrew pursued an acting career in New York City, attending the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. He performed at the Apollo Theatre and appeared on the Ricki Lake Show. Returning to Toronto, Andrew founded S4 Entertainment, a Christian entertainment company focusing on artist development, management, and event production, contributing to the success of award-winning groups and producing the music magazine Inspired and the annual drumming competition The Drumoff.

    In recent years, Andrew published "Bird Words: Inspirational thoughts for everyday life in 140 characters or less," produced the Urban Gospel Music talk show "City Gospel Presents," and served as a youth pastor in Toronto. Currently, Andrew and his wife, Juli-Anne, co-founded Streams Community Hub in Shelburne, Ontario, and he owns Town Tees, an apparel company focused on youth employment. Married for 12 years, they have three daughters and live in Shelburne.

  • Bobby Barrocks

    Bobby Barrocks, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, faced significant challenges early in life after being abandoned by his parents. He was raised with the help of his auntie, who provided the support he needed to persevere. Despite these hardships, Bobby found love and support in Marjorie Barrocks, and together they migrated to Canada. Settling in Toronto, Bobby and Marjorie raised four children, creating a loving and nurturing home.

    For over 30 years, Bobby has been a dedicated entrepreneur, running a successful photography business. His passion for photography extends beyond his business, as he has spent over 25 years teaching youth and young adults the art and skill of photography. Through his mentorship, he has inspired the next generation of photographers, leaving a lasting impact on his community. Bobby's resilience and dedication to his family and craft make his story truly inspiring.

  • KERN CATER

    Kern was born and raised in Toronto, On where he was initially known for his incredible talent on the basketball court. His talent on the basketball court led to a full athletic scholarship to St. Boneventure University, where Kern really found his true passion and love for writing. He has written for numerous publications and has published two novels of his own. He lives by the motto “history or nothing” meaning he will settle for nothing less than leaving his mark on literature’s history. He is a great example of an athlete with a plan after basketball and using sports as a tool to get further in life!
